A guy didn't answer to my message of good lucj, should I ask how did it go if I know that he lost?

I have a guy friend. We had a thing that we were flirting woth each other. But he said that he wasn'tookign for anything serious, so we decided to stay friends. I think we still like each other, but I don't know. We were chatting recently, and i wished him good luck in his game. He lost, then didn't answet. I do know that he is pissed of because of his perfomance, as his friend told me. Should i double text and pretend like i don't know how did it go?

Basically, a game was quite general. We are fencers, so that was one of the competitions

Ignoring the elephant in the room will never make it go away. It's always better to address it and then move forward. Come across as supportive and caring, not ignoring, judgmental or focusing on what he should have done. No one likes people playing Monday morning quarterback, pretending they're better than others and saying what should have been done.
