actually no that's not really true, there is no real data that proves women have a higher pain tolerance, that was really just a myth used to justify for providing pain management for women in the medical field. Pain tolerance is highly subjective; however, women do experience pain at a higher intensity as compared to men. That is the conclusion research has reached so far.
