I think honestly there are people that don’t like messaging and if they’re busy they forget answering, so don’t put pressure on him and on yourself for this thing, it may happen. But if it happens daily or with constant frequency, I’d consider to revaluate his interest towards you.

If this happens only once or twice at the most then it is fine. Maybe he was occupied with something important.

However if this happens at a regular basis then it could mean he is not so interested in talking to you.
