Why is he nervous and why would he say it?

This guy I like came over. This is the third time we hung out and he said he was nervous on 2 separate occasions. Why would he be nervous? He knows I like him.

Some people are naturally nervous with others irrespective of difference in gender etc,

Also with dating side of things people often overthink about what to say, struggle to keep a conversation going, get tongue tied, try not to just have a brain dump and tell you that your tits look lovely etc,

Probably because he knows he has to impress you and that he is being evaluated.

Many women are looking for a reason to get rid of a man. This is a job interview for him. He could let a fart slip out after dinner and you may very well never want to see him again. And he’s supposed to be relaxed around you? At your home? On your turf?

“He knows I like him.” Does he? In my experience women are pretty terrible at this. You tell us you like our haircut once every six months and expect us to feel like we matter. Hanging out with some woman only tells me she is with me because she is bored and has nothing better to do. So does he really know you like him? Maybe he does. Either way it’s still a job interview and he knows he has to put on a good performance.
