Recently, I was hooking up with this guy for the third time. He came over my place. He mentioned he was nervous and he had wine. I told him I missed him and he said I missed you too. We had a deep convo about his depression he’s going through. I told him that I was there for him. Then we had rough but sensual sex in the bedroom. After sex we fell asleep and woke up together exhausted. He told me that was a lot of fun. He since then has been distant. He did tell me he has a hard time dealing with emotions. Why would he say he is nervous?

Maybe because deep down he’s feeling the connection with you like no other. Seems like the chemistry physically is nuts for him too. If you have both emotional/physical chemistry with someone like that it can be overwhelming. Maybe you two can talk about where you guys stand so you can see where his head is at?
