Why will a guy with his friends make fun of a girl for stupid reasons such as the type of mask she is wearing, her sitting style, etc. And he will keep staring at her.

There could be a lot of reasons for someone to do this. One is that they are just being immature. Guys and girls at your age are often very capable of being immature, especially when it has to do with the opposite gender. It also could be a way to grab your attention.

Maybe this is his poor attempt at flirting? I don't know why anyone would criticize the way someone sits or mask style. Really, that goes back to the immaturity. Perhaps this guy and his friends have their own insecurities and this is their way of dealing with them.

Often people that are insecure with themselves try to point out other people and bring them down because it makes them feel better about themselves. Again, any number of reasons this could happen. Best to just ignore them entirely and they will get tired of it. If you don't give them attention, it will stop eventually.
