I went to an all girl's school, I. Super stunted now when it comes to guys and understanding guys. For frame of reference my face is okay not spectacular and I am chubby. I am attracted to guys but can honestly never tell when they are actually interested or not with eye contact, whether a polite passing a guy on the street most days look, or a coworker I am getting friendly with. I am really struggling to understand when they are just making general contact, polite or attracted 🫣🫣 can you please please help.

Don't make the mistake 99% of young women do, which is reading too deep into very basic words and actions from a guy, or misinterpreting those words and actions as meaning something that has little or no meaning. Most women interpret guys very poorly because they're trying to get something out of very few details from them.

Your mistake is that you're trying to judge whether or not guys are into you or not from just eye contact or friendliness. That is not enough to go on. You need to see some kind of consistent behavior from them on a regular basis to be able to come to some kind of conclusion that they're interested.

Thank you I'll try bear this in mind and reframe how I approach it. It is all so overwhelming and I fear IF a guy does actually like me he will give up because I'm not reciprocating but that could be because I'm actually not understanding

Don't overthink it, which is another major problem with young women. Just go with the flow and observe along the way. Don't convince yourself that something is there where it isn't as most young women do. Guys who seriously like you will show it and you will know it.

Guys are simple creatures. We don't do hints or respond to vague suggestions. We respond best when you speak slowly, use simple words. Yes and no questions work best. Eye contact is such a SMALL part of attraction, interest, etc. It's important to remember this, because girls tend to make it WAY more important than it really is.
