Shy guys…what do I make of his behavior?

Talking for 3-4 months. We live 2 hrs apart. We’ve been out on a date and kissed. He’s admitted he’s shy and inexperienced. He always talks about hanging out but never asks. He accepts when I ask. I do know he actually works a lot. One time I told him he confuses me he said he’d confused himself and it was too much to text. When I didn’t answer him for a couple days he called 2 of my friends to make sure I was ok. He talks to me when he’s stressed (which is a lot) and checks on me. He gets close then pulls back.

Can you gently convey, given inexperienced, that it is important for him to Plan... as it relates to your self-perception and Value. Maybe, he doesn't know? The reverse for me is... at some point when I come with Plan.. have an opinion and a disagreement or preference. I tend to be the opposite of him. Make sense?

The planning doesn’t bother me. I’m somewhat a confident person. I don’t know what he thinks of us so I don’t want to overwhelm him given you can tell he actually is shy.

YOUR CALL: But I think it is time for him to start manning-up a bit. I would love to get a hold of this guy ;-) Be liking training my "little brother" Like has he ever bought you flowers. If not, walk his ass to the Trader Joe's or whatever and point out that this is something I like... WHATEVER it is Bare Minerals or whatever. BABY STEPS though...
