My boyfriend is too opinionated?

whenever I joke with my boyfriend and maybe call him a name jokingly he will get mad for almost three days until I apologize for nothing,, when he calls me names I rarely get mad.. likewise when something does not fit right with me and try to talk to him he will stop talking to me for almost a week instead of giving me his point of view,, He is older than me with 5 years,, I feel he is too childish.. and holds up his ego too high,, he also never admits when he does a mistake his reaction is turning everything against me and keeping quiet,, am fed up and actually planning to leave though I love him

He seems really immature and childish as you said. Why he gets that mad over some playful teasing is beyond me. Heck, you should see my SO and I tease each other. This guy wouldn't last a day with me. I'm so goofy he'd be running for the nearest exit after an hour.

I like that sort of thing. Humour and laughter are my favourite things about my partner. His ability to dish it out as well as take it makes our relationship fun. I get laughs everyday, sometimes at my own expense and that is alright with me.

Your boyfriend seems extra sensitive and joking around. Have you talked to him about this and told him you are only joking and being playfully flirty? Seems to me he needs thicker skin. If he gets so mad he doesn't talk for three days, he is just super or even hyper sensitive and needs to relax. Of course, he sees no problem doing it to you by your description.

When he can do it to others but not take it, that is a double standard and he shouldn't call you names. Practice what you preach as they say.

Really not sure what to even tell you. Sounds like a personality trait (or flaw if you ask me) that I couldn’t tolerate considering he does what he gets mad about to you.
