When a guy says he's really happy. Relationship talk?

I've been dating a guy for just over 3 weeks, talk everyday, been on several dates. We slept together recently for the first time and spent the next day together. It was also the night that I met his friends.

Out of fear for misreading things and thinking he feels the same way as I do, I asked him if he was happy. He said he was really happy.

We've both told each other that we really like each other and love being with one another, so I've been thinking about having the talk about what we are. I can't do the casual thing, and sleeping with him was a really big deal for me, as I've only slept with boyfriends in the past.

So is it too soon to after almost a month? He's quite nervous and shy, so don't want to push it,. Would a guy say he's really happy if he wasn't interested in anything serious? I've got a good feeling about him, but I've been so wrong in the past. Help!

It can happen. I seem to get involved quickly. I don't like messing around and want to be comfortable together and do boyfriend/girlfriend things not date things.

I think it's a fine time to have that talk. But stick strictly to the "where are we now"-part. Avoid the "where are we going"-part for later.

It sounds to me like it's all good. Usually the rule is that guys won't ask you out on more than 3 dates unless they're interested! (:
