My guy says he's happy we met what does he mean by that?

I cannot get him to open up I know he feels something,every time he kisses me he interlocks fingers with me and he always shows up on time to pick me up for our dates.I have been with him for 2 months already.When I ask him if he wants us to keep going,he says yeah,we're having fun.and that he's just "happy" . What does he mean?
