Did I do what’s the best for me?

Hey! So umm.. there's a guy who I have been
chatting a lot with recently and he even told me that
he loves me few days ago even tho he said it early.
yesterday night I had a fight with him coz I caught
him lying to me and he wasn't admitting that he lied
to me he was continuously denying it then he got
mad and apologized but he wasn't sorry.. I was like
I'm the person who is been lied to , I am supposed
to be mad so why ure getting mad? Later he
admitted that he lied to me and said sorry so l
accepted his apology then I told him since u lied to
me today I don't think that I can trust u easily he
was like okay then block me I got mad, I was like he
could have said that yeah it was my fault and I will
try to gain ur trust but instead he said that I ruined
his night so that's when I got so mad and I didn't
want to talk to him so ignored his messages for
30mins he texted me soooo many times.. he even
called me more than 10times and when I checked
the messages he already deleted them and then I
said oh well, he replied to me and after 1 min he
deleted it and I couldn't see it so that's when I was
like I'm done and i removed him from my friend list but after sometime I was like maybe i shouldn't
have done that coz I genuinely like him a lot, so do
you guys think that I did the right thing?
Did I do what’s the best for me?
