What should my final message say?

I matched with this guy I really liked 3 weeks. When we matched he had the new on bumble default sign.

He always responded really fast and gave long answers and always seemed to ask me question. Our last correspondence was this:

Him: “Just wanted to mention, I'm heading to the states on Thursday and probably won't have any cell service for a week or so.”
Me: “Ahh nice! What state are you headed to? No worries, message me if you want to grab coffee or something when you’re back my number is xyz”
Him: “Yeah, sure, that sounds nice. I'll be going to Boston for a few days after the climbing so it might be a couple weeks. I'm going climbing in xyz. A place near Mt Xyz actually. Pretty excited. It's gonna be great! Do you have any summer travel plans?
Me: That’s awesome. Try not to die! Going to Xyz for a few days but other than not sure yet.


It has been almost 3 weeks now and I hadn’t heard from him. So I messaged him on the app on About 10 days agosaying “how was the trip?”And he responded that day and said “hey there. It was really great. I was in Boston for a bit afterwards.” I got the sense he didn’t want to talk to me cause he didn’t offer much detail and didn’t ask me a question so I haven’t responded. Now I think I may be overthinking. I want send one last message to gauge the situation cause why not but what should I say?


I live in a smaller city so prospect options aren’t great so I was excited about him. Im not new to online so I felt judging on the convo he was actually engaged in the convo before his trip so confused ‘
