Because guys are into self gratification. If he rejected you, then he must of liked it on some level so now he likes the positive enforcement he gets from it. Feed his ego. It's selfish behavior.

Don't tolerate that type of behavior because you deserve better for yourself and you should demand better.

Once a women rejected me she is dead to me. I am not mean to her or anything, but I don't encourage her because it's just mean to play games with some one like that. And if she continues to try to flirt with ate rejecting me, I ignore her because I refuse to give her the satisfaction she looking for.

I am not some play thing for her amusement.
