So there's a guy I like and he's very intelligent and very attractive. The quiet but charming type I would say. So were talking for a while and we seem to get on really well. Exchanged numbers and texted. SO after that, I wanted to test the waters a bit seeing what he'd do. So I'd flirt around guys in front of him and the started speaking to me less and less and was getting more distant. It wasn't a very good idea and I feel dumb. What do I do? Why hasn't he asked me out?

You proved to him that you're a game-player, and he's smart enough not to get involved with such a woman. And be happy, because there are plenty of guys who, knowing that you liked him AND you tried to play games with him, would lead you on only to pump and dump you - and feel completely justified for doing so.

No man of any self-worth wants a woman who plays games. I'm hardly a handsome top 10% guy myself, but even I wouldn't go near that.

You could try to confess to him what you did, and explain how you realized how awful it was and that you've learned your lesson, and MAYBE he gives you another shot, but I'd say that the odds were against you. Some guys will tolerate games, and some won't, and it seems he's in the latter category, and usually for that kind of guy, the first time we see a girl trying to play games, it's over, period.

You decided to talk to other people and flirt with others while he is around. If someone did that to you, would you think they are interested in you at all? You probably wouldn't and you wouldn't waste your time on that person.
