Why guy say that he have someone he likes but doesn't tell who is it?

There is a guy who is quite outgoing but secretive about his personal life. One time, he messaged one of my colleague about what gift do women like so he can give to woman he likes. When my colleague asked about who the person he like is. He didn't reveal the name or anything related to person he likes. He just explained that he likes someone. Why doesn't he reveal who he likes? Does every guys does that?

Do you tell anyone and everyone who you like? Could be you, or you are close or know the person he likes (or whomever asked, and we know women love to talk to each other). Or, maybe just thinks it's none of your god D*&^ business! LOL Maybe he's just a private person? I don't share my personal life with very many people, especially if they're strangers. Just nobody's business and I find people in general are just too nosy and don't mind their own business.

depends she could have a government position and is afraid to talk about her or divulge to much information because of that or she could be a celebrity or high profile person and doesn't want to divulge to much info because of that. A lot of times it's because of her job or career which he can't go into detail
