My boyfriend told me that we we’re not gonna love each other the same way do you think that maybe he doesn’t truly love me?

He was talking about how he missed when he was taking care of my house and had it all to himself and I felt bad (I felt like he didn’t want me there) and I said “I knew that you didn’t love me or miss me as much as I did” (I was away at a different country for 3 weeks) and he responded back saying “ugh we’re not going to love each other the same way”. And then later when I asked him what he meant by that, he said that he meant that we loved each other in different ways like that we showed it differently. Why does it feel though like one person usually loves more and gives more than the other in all the relationships that I’ve seen?

I think basically he means that he's not going to be as clingy as you, simply because he's more confident than you are.

Personally I'm a romantic, so I don't like people like that- lol. But I'm not going to hate him because of my own internal bias.

So, there are different love languages and people love differently, and it is normal to not have as frequent note-writing as a relationship progresses beyond the first couple years. BUT, I find it really unfortunate that he missed not having you in the house. To me that’s a sign of dysfunction in the relationship.

His is physical touch we took a quiz. But for me it seems to be like it’s all of the above so he needs to prove it by actions as well like trying to spend more time with me which he doesn’t yesterday he actually seemed pretty irritated to be with me. In the beginning je used to use a lot of words of affirmation through his writing now it’s less but he still tells me that he loves me all the time

He used to write me long paragraphs and stuff but he still tells me that he loves me everyday and he used to take me to work and pick me up. He was baffled though that I expect him to take care of me when I’m sick even if he is sick. Is that a weird thing to expect? Last time I got sick I was so sad and I wanted him to take care of me I got all excited thinking that he would bring me food and that I would get to see him but no he just ordered food at my doorstep I was sad.
