Yes. And this is because the last guy I talked to tricked me into thinking we were eventually gonna get into a relationship , and we never did so now I fear the same thing happening again sadly.

Yeah ! I ended things with him because I asked him about his intentions towards me , but I didn’t like his response. His response was “ I want to continue to talk to you and get to know you , and see where things go “ . I understand where he was coming from since we had just met , and didn’t know each other for long , but I was expecting a response like “ I want to be in a relationship with you in the future “ . I honestly got scared and ran asap because I was afraid he’s keeping me as an option , doesn’t know what he wants , etc just all the negative reasons I could possibly think of.

It matters because you applied the last relationship to this new guy. You are scared you will repeat the pattern. What that guy said about you having good luck isn’t him being honest with how he feels

Your right about that ! I just wish he would have been more straight forward about his intentions. I can’t risk being in the same situation again that I was last time with the last guy I talked to , it’s scary. It took me so long
To get over the last guy I talked to , I don’t wanna ever feel that kind of pain and betrayal ever again.

No guy is going to be perfect and you just gotta try to do your best and take it a day at a time. Tbh if a guy told you on day one that he wants a relationship with you that’s too soon. It takes time for him to get to know you and decide if you all match

Your 100% right. So maybe it’s my fault for asking him too soon about what his intentions were? But I’m just so afraid to go through the same thing again. I had so much anxiety talking to him before I asked him what his intentions were.
