Yes, we can be friends with women but not have feelings for them.

That's being said, a man who flirts with women probably does have feelings for her. I don't cuddle with anyone outside of family for whom I don't have feelings for.

I can’t speak for all men but I certainly can’t have a female friend that I don’t have intentions with, that’s just me though. Outside of that I don’t see what I have in common with a woman that we could build a friendship over.

But it's quite a task for some guys to be so

It could go either way. Opposite sex friendships are difficult that way though. Most of the time, either the male or female friend will have feelings for the other.

If they find you attractive, they would have sex with you regardless of how you feel about your relationship. If that, to you, means you're not "friends", then yeah - guys can't be friends with girls.

Chances are if there's no physical attraction the friendship won't last, in which case it's not really a friendship anyways
