How long should I wait to text him?

Ok so I met this guy at a club Friday and danced the night away. He ended up coming back to the apt. (didn’t have sex) and we were up all night talking, watching movies, making out, etc. super sweet guy but not my usual type so I’m a little skeptical on if I’m reading him right or not. How long should I wait to reach out to him?

When I was dating I think there was a three day rule. You could not call a girl for three days after a date or else she would say you were too needy. I would call them the next day and explain about the three day rule and then mention that i was not good at following the rules. You should text him today. Why play these stupid games?

Text him and ask him how he's doing. When he responds, follow the convo that develops. If it hits a dead end, tell him what you enjoyed about your night together. That should get a response.
