I have grocery store interviews tomorrow. Any tips?

1. Ensure you know the responsibilities and requirements of the role for which you are being interviewed as most of the questions the interviewer will be asking would be about them.

2. Ensure you can explain your skills and work experience that are relevant to the role for which you are being interviewed.

3. Ensure you can explain why you are interested the role. A good answer should focus on explaining one thing that excites you about the role and company.

4. Ensure you can explain why you want to work for the company. A good answer should focus on one thing about the company's product, services, reputation, goals, or values.

5. Prepare one or two questions to ask the interviewer. You can ask the interviewer how the job vacancy of the role came about. Also, ask if I’m offered the job, what criteria would the company use to determine I’m doing the job effectively. Your last question could be about how soon would the outcome of the job interview be communicated to you.

If they ask the question tell me about yourself, they don't want to know you finished school or that you have kids, they want to know basically what you know about the company and what your experiences can contribute and bring to the company
