I attended a doctors appointment by myself. I was greeted by a female receptionist, very young though obviously a bit older than myself. She asked me for my full name and I said "Mr. Peter Donnelly".

Teenagers don't usually prefix their name with "Mr." unless they're trying to be funny or sarcastic. If I were you, I would just have said "Peter Donally." I might also have included my middle name, since she did ask for a full name.

I wasn't being funny or sarcastic. If she been older I would have given my name without the prefix but as she was young and unknown to me I felt Mr. to be appropriate.
