My crushes friend added me on snapchat and I had no idea who he was until he revealed that he was my crushes friend last year. He told me that my crush talked a lot about me. he then kinda playfully flirted. what does this mean?

Im just left wondering how much my crush told him? and why he would friend a person who was one year younger than him?
