Guys, Why did a guy tap my shoulder?

I was walking to my class and a guy who in my grade came and tapped my shoulder, and then left.

We both know eachother but never talk to eachother.

Usually you do that when you want someone's attention, either to talk to them or to get them to step out of your way, if they're blocking it. If he just moved past and didn't say anything, it was probably the latter.
