Are you both working? Is this the only time happens? I would hardly say a glance is starring. Sometimes it can be something that catches his attention on a subconscious level, but otherwise no other purpose. Like a certain car you always some how happen to notice every where. Afterall you always seem to notice when he comes out and that he glances your way. Sounds like you are taking an interest to him and hoping he does notice you... I say approach the guy and talk to him about something he knows about, meat. Im sure hed be more than happy to explain anything you could ask him about meat. Even if its something you already know.

Not necessarily about meat his maybe …he’s been extremely weird lately He doesn’t look up while talking to him I try to be nice and friendly it seems his voice is different when he talks to me but when he’s with someone he’s silly and goofy me and him past I’m trying to figure him out

If it was only one time, it's hard to tell. But, if he checks every time he sees you, I'd say you have an admirer and he is staring, just trying not to get caught!.
