Why is he acting like this? advice?

This guy I’ve been talking to.. Will randomly message me saying to not speak to him anymore. And to “do you” But then the next day talk to me… I can’t tell if he actually likes me like he said or what’s going on.. because of it.. I don't know if it’s something I’m doing or what.. I know I haven’t been texting him as much lately but I’ve kinda been distant cuz I tried to make plans with him twice and each time something came up. And then the time he tried to I was sick.. which he asked to still come over but I had told him no.. so I don't know.. Am I wasting time talking to him again if he reaches out?

Definitely wasting your time. By letting him back into your life repeatedly, especially after disrespecting you, you are creating a toxic cycle, and he will feel like this behavior is ok. Someone so indecisive, not to mention outwardly mean (like telling you not to talk to him more than once is so rude), but if I were you I wouldn’t sign up to keep dealing with that. You want something easy, where there’s no confusion and more than anything, he treats you with the respect and decency that you deserve. I’m sure you wouldn’t want to see a friend or loved one get treated like that, so what makes you the exception?
