I just recently began seeing someone. We hang out on the weekends for now and text daily. Over the past weekend, we agreed on seeing each other. We made plans for late afternoon. I barely heard from him until later on around 7PM. He explained he was dealing with family issues, which i understood. He came over and we watched a movie and ordered take out, as we were waiting on our take out, i had my notifications on my phone going off, which i asked Siri to read it aloud, one being a dating app that i have not used since we started seeing each other. MIND YOU I AM NOT TALKING TO ANYONE ELSE ( i forgot to delete it). We went about the rest of the night, he didn't seem upset. We seemed fine until Tuesday (Valentines Day). I noticed he was very distant and not talkative. I told him i'm here if he needs anything, that i'll give him space. Which led to him not talking to me the rest of the day and night. I reached out yesterday asking for an explanation and he told me that he didn't wanna ruin my Valentines Day by telling me what was wrong. He opened up and said he was upset that he heard that dating app notification and that he did not want to waste his time. I explained that i wasn't seeing anyone else but did apologize for not deleting it and that he has nothing to worry about but he will not have it. He talks, gets aggravated, then ignores me. I've tried to talk to him about it and tell him that there is nothing to worry about but he keeps throwing small digs at me. Saying he went through a similar situation. I feel this isn't fair to me. I'm at the point of walking away because it shouldn't be this hard already. Am i in the wrong here?

He's being a whiny bitch, and I can promise you his jealousy and neediness will only get worse over time. Time to open that dating app back up
thank you, i wasn't sure if i looked like an a-hole for forgetting to delete the app.. glad i found out now before it got more invested
For sure! It's not your fault really, it happens. I had Tinder on my phone for the first 2 years of my relationship lol. Along with a bunch of other useless apps
