I have a friend who I have a crush on and I have this feeling that he's gay. I've heard that he's gay and my friends keep telling me that he's gay but for some weird reason he flirts with me. a girl. why would this be?

I haven't confirmed that he's gay and I'm too scared to ask him. he's probably bi but mostly gay since he doesn't really pay much romantic interest into any girl except maybe me?

Pretty sure that's just him been nice. Many gay men are very comfortable with been complimentary with girls. Stereotypically should I say anyway.
And stereotypical you will see such as gay guys helping girls pick what to wear, going shopping with them, tell them what's good on them.
While this will all boost your confidence and feel good it's just him been nice.
