Is he not interested or am I just impatient?

I messaged him yesterday expressing how I feel and he did not reply until today when I texted him again although he replied immediately after. He apologized and explained that he was really busy and that he would reply as soon as he is done with what he is doing. I honestly don't want to spend time pursuing someone who is not interested in me.

If people are busy doing something, they don't have the time to answer right away. They place priorities and I do exactly the same. Sometimes, answering a text is NOT a priority, even if you are in a relation. You have to learn to give people the opportunity to answer with a delay.

There is nothing in life that is so important that it needs to have to reply immediately to a text.

If I was in the guy's situation, I would honestly think that you are a little pushy and that you are possibly even controlling.

I believe it is in the guy's interest that you end your pursuit because all you do is to place him under pressure because of your impatience.

Many people have said I am impatient. Honestly, it is just I know the worth of my time and how much I care for others. If I am not receiving it back, I am leaving as soon as I can.
