So I was talking to my guy when he told me he's failing in school.

I asked him why and he said it's maybe weed or the new environment (He currently left).

So I got really concerned about the weed aspect. I told him to look out for himself. Afterward he said why would he not look out for himself and I said what about the weed and whatnot.

He did not respond to this. So my question is, have I said anything wrong to piss him off or?

No, you did not say anything wrong but junkies, drug addicts and those that are into that kind of addictions always find excuses not to blame drugs for their failures.

By not responding to you, he simply refuses to admit that drugs are actually the reason for failing his school. He realized that you told the truth but he failed to acknowledge it and he did not want to give you the satisfaction for finding out the reason for him failing.

That is the same type of person that does not see any issues in doing drugs and will refuse to join a detox program because they don't want to admit that they are wrong.

He probably just let it go not wanting to start an argument. To him it’s probably recreational and not a big deal.
