As much as women should protect men. No one should simply stand by and watch someone get hurt. I thought we were past all this gender role BS.
It's the preferred norm that men will protect women. That said, the strong warrior princess that protects men is very sexy too.

Chivalry says yes. I try to help all people. It’s rarely gonna be an action movie instead of giving a shopping cart to an older lady.

You see that spirit in such movies like Titanic. Some guys will die to save even a feminst who hates him.
Some guys are starting to have second thoughts about putting themselves into danger.
And there are some capable women. But it's not the rule, and many women are more likely to seek help than offer it at the moment of truth. Especially if it's dangerous.
@Qdbrown if men were more likely to seek out help maybe mental health issues and suicide rates would decline…
@Subarugirl. Men who do seek mental health treatment are often put on "red flag" lists, face loss of their job, and certainly being seen as weak by women.

No, it's well known outside the young and naive, that if a man breaks down in society, people fear him and depending on the situation and the people around him, he can flagged and managed by the system from courts to wards. Ensuring he is medicated and not a danger to anyone. Whether he really needs to or not.

If there’s nature involved or some sort of attack them I think the guy should jump in. Pretty much in all cases. The only times I think a guy shouldn’t is when there are girl on girl fights (should be broken up in most cases) or if the girl started a fight and wants her boyfriend out husband to finish it
