As much as women should protect men. No one should simply stand by and watch someone get hurt. I thought we were past all this gender role BS.

It's the preferred norm that men will protect women. That said, the strong warrior princess that protects men is very sexy too.

There are 2 types of people in this world: wolf and Shepard's. Gender doesn't have anything to do with whichever you choose to be.

Since a woman is weaker physically, a man who is stronger should protect her during bad situation like rape or anything like that. Eg. Husband needs protect his wife from perverts.

Traditionally men are stronger and have been tasked by society of the centuries to not only protect all women, but children too.

You see that spirit in such movies like Titanic. Some guys will die to save even a feminst who hates him.

Some guys are starting to have second thoughts about putting themselves into danger.

And there are some capable women. But it's not the rule, and many women are more likely to seek help than offer it at the moment of truth. Especially if it's dangerous.

No, it's well known outside the young and naive, that if a man breaks down in society, people fear him and depending on the situation and the people around him, he can flagged and managed by the system from courts to wards. Ensuring he is medicated and not a danger to anyone. Whether he really needs to or not.

The only times I think a guy shouldn’t is when there are girl on girl fights (should be broken up in most cases) or if the girl started a fight and wants her boyfriend out husband to finish it

@KrakenAttackin I'm sensing some daddy issues. Or at the very least some repressed anger. Don't let growing up in a single parent home or a bad divorce turn you into revolting blight on society.
