Is this normal for guys to do this and why do some guys do this?

So I was seeing a guy and we wasn’t dating but he had his friend text me. I guess to see if I will reaping but why? We wasn’t serious but we did spend a lot of time together. Also I’m sure he was doing his own thing seeing other people.

I feel like you posted this a while ago, if so, then not saying this in a mean way but why are you still on this topic? I would think if he were interested you two would have something going by now, but you still mention this in past tense.

He might have been testing you, or to see how you would respond. Or maybe he's just really shy?
