How and when do you tell a guy to do something differently during sex becuase it's not doing anything for you without hurting his ego?

Like if his technique or something makes you think what is he doing? Maybe it will get better. Doesn't he see I'm not reacting at all? I'm not one to fake it.

I heard before to just nicely tell them what to do. I tried it before and the guy got mad, and said he knew how to whatever a woman. Well we're not all the same. But since then I'm at square one.

I've told someone else after the fact and he seemed to be ok. But his insecurities lead it to bring only 1 night.

Tell him "I know I'm probably a bit different from other women, but..." Even if that isn't necessarily true, it gives him an out for his ego, and gives him a chance to learn something. I agree that this shouldn't be necessary, but many men are REALLY sensitive about their ability to please a woman, because that DOES go directly to their ego. If you acknowledge that you might be different, then he can say to himself "oh, so, it's not my fault that I'm not pleasing her - she needs something different from the norm" and he'll not feel attacked, and so he can more easily have an open mind.
