so basically this guy has already cancelled dates 2 times. the first time he did that and then just vanished for a while then came back and made a plan to meet and canceled again. this time he gave me confirmation first saying he’ll see me at the discussed time. i hadn’t responded to the message yet and then he goes on to delete it and says that he has a fever so he won’t be able to make it. and that we should reschedule it again. i pretended like i didn’t see what he did, and responded saying it’s fine. now after a day goes by he has responded to a photo of mine, complementing it. i’m confused as to how i should reply to it. should i throw a taunt as my reply, or should i act completely unbothered and reply with “thanks”?

i got to know him through a mutual friend. my friend studied in the same classes as him and they were both good friends. so we’ve only had contact through the online platforms, so it does get a little hard to walk up to him and make plans. also, the other date plans weren’t serious they were just some casual coffee meet ups and that too to a coffee shop that’s 5 mins away from both of our places. i won’t say i’ve done any drama before. but he has been acting funny.
