We did dated each other for 2 months we broke up because he said he doesn’t want to ruin the friendship.. but he been acting rude and very distant I want to ask him why but sounds like I’m wasting my time to ask him 😒

You know what happens in these situations is one discovers things they did not know about the other. Often those things are to much to bare or are hurtful to the other person. Often, the “hurtful friend” does not even realize that there is a problem.

The “offended friend” then pulls away from the dynamic. Either this person gets over it or they do not. I doubt it is ended but you need to give him space until he comes to terms with whatever it is. It is what it is.

He probably does, but he probably also completely lacks self awareness and doesn't have the ability to handle those kinds of emotions.
