Guy friend suddenly acting very distant?

So one of my guy friends has been acting really weird. I've known him since we were in middle school, and we've been relatively close. I've always considered him a close friend, and a couple of years back I even had a crush on him, and I was told that he was into me. Since then we both got over it and we've been good friends.

But recently he's been acting really distant. He doesn't talk to me in school anymore like he used to and he responds to my texts quite curtly. He just unadded me on snapchat...

I don't know why he's being so wierdly distant. We share a group of friends and all the other guys in the group are behaving normally, if not more friendly...

Any thought to why he's being weird? I'm really really confused and need serious advice right now...

Sh*t happens that you'll never understand. You'll make new friends. If you can't think of anything you've done to hurt him then it's all in his head and you can't do anything about it. Best thing to do is accept that relationships change overtime and enjoy the relationships you have with others. Continue to be you and continue to be happy. He'll either drift away without ever solving this issue, tell you what's bothering him or get over it. Don't go assuming it'll only make things worse.

Maybe he heard something like a rumor? He also might have personal issues. Talk to him to see whats up

Maybe he just doesn't want to be a good friend anymore. Are you dating someone at the moment? Could be something you might have said to him or someone else that pushed him to the limit and decided not to associate with you anymore. I would just ask him, why is he acting so distant and tell him that it seems as if he is shutting you out of his life...
