Why would I go out with a man who would take weeks months years to ask me out on a chivalrous date?

After 2 weeks since meeting a male such as at work , if he doesn't make consiste effort domantialy and asks me ot then i take it he sees me as no more than a friend and any attempts at flirting are cause he wants to use me for sex. Cause men can have sex with their friends.

I domt fornicate so basically after 2 weeks, i only see men as friends.
