This is going to be an interesting one..
There's this guy I was interested in. I wasn't sure about him for awhile. During this time he did the most to get me interested in him. Then he eventually pulled away after I started showing interest - which led to an argument because I didn't know any better. Anyway, he's really good "friends" with this girl. He shows up to her dance events, posts goofy pictures with her, this girl even intercepted after me and his argument - following me on instagram then unfollowing me.
Anyway, I took a long break from him. He blocked me and I blocked him for awhile. And recently he reached out to me (I forgot to block him on iMessage). I don't know how but we ended up hanging out again. I asked why he didn't have a girlfriend yet and he said he was "working on himself". He made a lot of advances. Nothing sexual but he kept sitting really close to me, touching my hand, rubbing my back. He also kissed me on my lips a few times in the car. The next day he asked what we were and after I said I liked him a little and asked him to answer he said he didn't know and that he wasn't sure where his head was at.
So I ended things and blocked. And I blocked him on iMessage this time around too. Around this time I also noticed that his "good friend" had posted a picture on her Instagram with this guy.
So my question, as a young adult, is how can I be emotionally mature about this? Also how can I get myself out of this situation? I see him around all the time and it's awkward because I'm not sure how to be. I want to be friendly but I don't want him in my life again.
Also - what's going to happen to him and why is he like that? If he runs away the minute a woman shows interest is he ever going to be able to be in a stable relationship? I can tell he was probably friendzoned by his "good friend".
