Why does my ex tell me he wants to be with me over text, then as soon as I ask him to help me fix our relationship he ghosts?

I’m not sure you’ve heard this before, but it’s possible for a guy to like you a lot or even love you, still not want to commit, but doesn’t want to see you with someone else. It’s about controlling the narrative and keeping you in his back pocket knowing full well he wants to explore his options. I’m really glad you’ve realized he’s not the one, because all he’s doing is getting your hopes up, wasting your time. Don’t give him another opportunity to lie and disappoint you.
