Ok I am seeing someone the last month. But to be honest, the whole thing between us was always in face to face presence (we have common friends, so we hang out with them and after that we take some private time for us - no sex - we had sex only the last two times). We have never texted the one to each other. About a week ago I found him on social media (instagram) and I sent him a follow request. After a day he accepted my request and he followed me back. But still even if we went for a beer and chilled alone again, he never texted.

It's been 4 days since I last saw him because he is on holiday and I said ok why not to text him first. I can understand that he is not a social media guy. I can tell that also from his profile but was it a bad idea to text him? Do you like it when a girl texts first? Usually how long does it takes to see a reply? I mean, guys, usually when do you check your dm if you are not that into your phone? I know that my question is stupid but I am used to be the one that receives the messages not the one that sends them XD

Also, is the fact that he never contacted me through social media a red flag even if face to face he acts with the best possible way? He is tender and he always takes care of me. He is cuddling me all the time even if his friends can see us and he has confessed that he liked me since the first time that he saw me and he wanted to approach me with respect.

This was exactly me 2 years ago with a guy. Have you guys discussed what you are yet? If I could go back and give my past self advice since I was in your shoes, I would have been up front with him to begin with and trusted that if I was really into him and wanted to know how he felt, that I would ask him and not try to read into his behaviors and make poor assumptions that were based on my insecurity. And if I was bothered by his presence outside of when I saw him, I would ask him if he likes texting or if it isn’t his thing. Openness is so crucial. As long as you aren’t demanding or accusatory or being challenging, just asking in a friendly and open way can’t hurt.

No, we haven't discussed what we are yet because I thought that it was too early for that. His behavior made it clear that he wants me. I have also met his friends and they know about us, which is a plus. But, discussion is something that we should do since I texted him yesterday but I never received a reply. So, it should be clear if he actually isn't into his phone and doesn't like texting or if he isn't that into me.
