Guy's Behavior

He asked to reschedule but hasn’t replied to me yet?

I’ve (f22) been talking to this guy (m22) for a few weeks now and we really hit it off. I could tell he was interested and was putting in effort since he would initiate facetimes which would go for 1-4 hours. We already had our first date and planned our second one! But he called me the night before and told me he got into a fight with his mom and he was afraid she wouldn’t let him go out. He said he would try his very best to talk about everything his mom would want to talk about so he can go on our date. He texted me the day of that he couldn’t make it and asked if I could reschedule which was totally fine but it’s been almost a week and still hasn’t responded to my text (he’s very active on social media tho :/)


I think I should mention that he trauma dumped on me about his very dysfunctional family and narc mom/abusive dad the first week we started FaceTiming. I didn’t mind it but I don’t understand how he can switch up so fast from being interested to not texting me back at all. And he added me onto his private ig as well. All of my friends told me to drop him but I really liked him and I’m not sure if I should do anything or just forget about it.
