He could’ve just said he’s busy, he’s dating someone or he just wouldn’t be up for it but he hopes I’m doing good there’s a polite way to rejection someone.

He knows I don’t take rejection well bc I met him whilst drunk and I was asking and asking to kiss him and he said no bc I was drunk and I wouldn’t let it go but i was extremely drunk

The thing about that situation is lying to her even though you’re not interested is only going to make it worse in the long run, so to put a stop to things before she got any more emotionally invested I would except the compliment but explain that I’m already married, or if that wasn’t applicable, I would explain that I appreciate the thought but since I cannot return it it is unfair to her to continue having a conversation about it.

True if he was interested in me I wouldn’t even have to wait for a reply clearly he just doesn’t care and isn’t interested to him it’s water under a bridge but he did wait with me out on the train for two hours and make sure I got home safe and texted me right after perhaps he just wanted to do a good deed and / or after weighing out the situation the next day he thought that girl is one drunken mess buh bye

Yeah I’d honestly just tell the person I feel like we’re different and I don’t want to waste your time but I’m flattered and leave it at that, at the end of the day it’s more polite and genuine to kindly reject the person than to ignore them
