Should I tell my crush I like him?

I have a crush on this guy who probably doesn't even know I exist but I really want him to accept me on Facebook or snapchat should I tell him so hopefully he might add back?

OK I will give a short answer and then I will give a long answer bc this is something that seems like it comes up a lot. The short answer is you should flirt with him but I would not literally say "I like you do you like me?" By flirting with him I mean ask him questions or ask for advice and say "you're so funny" if you are not sure he is single ask about his girlfriend like "I love your shirt, did your girlfriend get it for you" or whatever so hopefully he will say "I don't have a girlfriend right now" and things like that. If you know him in person, which it sounds like maybe not v. well, there are a lot of techniques you can use when talking in person, ideally if you have mutual friends that can also help.

The long answer is if you ask this kind of question, nearly every guy and most girls will say "yeah go for it!!" because there is no risk for them so why not. But there probably is risk so I would try to reduce the risk which is what I am describing, show signs you like him but it's not obvious or undeniable, and see if he shows signs he likes you in which case you are basically there, vs if you just ask him it could be v. awkward. However I will say I have not been in this exact situation and do not know all the details maybe there isn't much risk if you don't have the same social circles. JMO!

You're smart. There are so many things your team of girlfriends could assist you on if this is important to you and not creating any potential awkwardness and believe me... whilst I don't blame them, but those girls that used to throw their panties at me, scream and sometimes faint in my presence... they are nice and can be fun but let's just say the prude looked more appealing.
Almost every guy is easy to engage and approachable. You can tell when a guy likes you, I assume as I can tell when a Dude likes a chick and vice versa but harder to judge myself in those situations.

Though I say all of this... I still too have a particular lady that I was enfatuated with and knew was smitten as well but never pulled the trigger and was actually years and then one day... gone... along with my heart... hit by a bus she was. 😯. No, took a job somewhere else... My little Seductress. Til the day we meet again.

@08__Andrew__80 TY yes your girlfriends can help a lot in several different ways. This topic always makes me confused, "just tell him" "just tell him" yeah when I was 13 years old I thought that was an awesome idea lol. I saw somebody today say she has typed a list of all the reasons (she called them excuses) people give to not "just tell him" why would somebody care enough to type up a list and, if you keep hearing the same thing from a bunch of people enough to type a list, have you considered there is something to what they keep saying? But there many social groups and parts of life that I don't really know about maybe it works for a lot of situations I just know it v. def. does not work for all situations.

Test the water with him. before you just tell him. Flirt a little and see how he reacts, use his body language as an indicator, it will help you know if he has any romantic interest. And it will save you any embarrassment.
