I've heard of this happening. In fact that's exactly what my male cousin did too.

He finds out his girlfriend is a worthless cheater. Before breaking up, he fights the other guy. Waste of time. The other guy is only guilty of enjoying his time with an easy, trashy woman. Why not just break up and walk away? Why the need to fight the other man?

People often criticize younger girls for being immature and not knowing things. That may be true to a large degree lol but in terms of natural wisdom I really don't see how age has an impact. Infact I believe a lot of females regress in their cognitive functions..

If people are too afraid of violent consequences, they are less likely to become homewreckers or cheaters, and will opt to just breakup and date other people instead.

Because cheating carries with it the risk of the innocent partner becoming infected, cheating and homewrecking can be viewed as a violent act itself, warranting punishment/discouragement.
