He didn’t show up and apologised that he fell asleep?

So we were supposed to meet last night and he didn’t show up. Next early in the morning he send a message he was sorry that he fell asleep quite early around a certain time and that he woke up like 4 am.
Should I ignore? Just assume he is telling the truth or assume he is lying?

Doesn’t matter if he is telling the truth. If he messed up, he should make it up. Tell him it’s not a big deal then stop initiating contact. You can let this one go if he makes new plans and try to make it up for you, we all make mistakes sometimes. But it is a red flag if he just explained and act like everything is back to normal again

Yep I didn’t say anything yet. I am a bit pissed. Wondering if I should just say nothing and see if he gets it or if I should say how I feel and that he need to make up for it! But I assume he thinks is no big of a deal since he said “have a good day though 🥰”

Say nothing or tell how you really feel, either way is fine. The point is to let him know you are not ok with it through your actions. Some guys are a little retarded, so you might need a little patience before he realizes he messed up.
However, if he doesn’t make it up and just casually ask you out again like nothing happened, you accepting the date offer is basically allowing him to mess up your emotions without consequences, and things will only get worse later.
Be sincere, but also have boundaries. All you need is his gesture for making things right, it is not a hard thing to do if he really value you

Well he sent the text early morning which Means he’s Most likely telling the truth. If he wanted till 4pm or 11pm then He probably stood you up. But since he apologized early morning it’s safe to assume he’s being honest. He woke up and his first reaction was oh shit shit shit and he grabbed his phone and Texted his apology.
