Confusing guys?

Was on a trip in the summer and met a guy who flirted with and hung out with me on he trip. He would act shy when I was around, he was also ten years older than me. He got my number then after the trip didn’t hear from him. Some time later he did text me out of the blue, and I carried a conversation with him and by the end of the conversation he was like talk soon! Never heard from him again. I tried once just to message once never heard back. Quite odd. Not that it’s a huge deal, just very strange.

Do you know some of his friends? You could try to ask news from him
