I remember when I was younger, there used to be tons of kids walking around the neighborhood trick or treating. I rarely saw anybody trick or treating this year. Do you think it's dying out? Do you think it should just be cancelled?

Probably but more in the sense that it's always been weird that random adults have to pay for sweets to give to kids they don't know at all.
Along with that also just be dangerous towards said kids.

The overall idea of binging horror films and a Halloween themed party though won't die out.
