Do conservative guys act like this?

This sounds crazy but years ago I asked somebody about a guy I liked and the friend told me he wanted a girl that he could court and not one that would chase him. Then he said the same, he runs from girls who “hit” on him or try to get tight to him. I later tracked his Facebook and learned he had some unpleasant secrets. My cousin says I’m lucky we never dated, he got offended by my rude behaviour one day and started ghosting me.

It's more complicated than that. I'm sure there are liberal guys like that, too. To be like that requires a sort of narcissism, or at least a higher than averwge intensity when it comes to polishing ones self image. Such people are more prone to anger when it comes to things that contradict their self image, seeing it as a threat to how they perceive themselves to already be, instead of a challenge to become it. They are addictied to fantasies in which they are always right and what others to confirm it. This doesn't really have anything to do with traditional conservativism but over the last 20 years or so conservative media has cultivated this trait in its listeners in an effort to harness it to steer voters towards more tax cuts for the rich.

So, you're more likely to get this with a conservative guy but it has nothing to do with traditional conservativism.

the method of the man being the chaser has a low success rate but upon success would guarantee him the woman of his dreams.

the method of the man being the chased has a high success rate but won't guarantee him the woman of his dreams.

more often than not, it's the average men who have to compromise when undergoing the second method whereas the above average man can succeed in both methods.

There's a difference between the woman you marry and the girl you hook up with. Women who chase men give the impression they are promiscuous. You can't marry a promiscuous woman.

Generally it's the woman who picks the man, bh baiting herself. The man thinks that he is in control doing the pursuing but it's really the woman who manipulates the situation, like a Venus fly trap.
