He doesn’t want to be just friends. He has felt out what feelings you hold towards him at the very moment and is willing to settle in hopes that you will push your boundaries and cave to having sex with him. No one is entitled to having placement in your life if you don’t want them there and with the history you two have, it’s going to be almost impossible to be just friends.
