My friends with benefits just stopped talking to me?

I've had a friends with benefits for maybe 4 months or so. It was kind of a weird relationship. We never really talked about ourselves. Or anything really. He would just text me or I would text him and we would go over each other's house and literally cuddle and have sex. Than leave a couple hours later. The cuddling was awesome. He called me one night after I was kinda ignoring him because he stood me up. He asks me if I'm seeing someone else and asked where our relationship was going. I told him id like to be better friends and really get to know each other and see what happens. Nothing really came of that conversation but he did accuse me of seeing someone else and hasn't talked to me since. I've tried to call him and text but he won't answer. I don't get why he would be mad. I thought we didn't really care about each other. And he didn't put any effort into showing me that. I can't read his mind. Anyways do you think he stopped talking to me because he thinks I'm seeing someone else which is weird because I didn't realize we were dating? Or that he just found someone else or got bored?

He stopped talking to you because he doesn't care about you and more than likely he found someone else. That's the point of "friends with benefits" you can call them whenever one want to use the other or when two people want to use each other to get laid and leave any time you find someone better or someone starts to become too close. Friends with benefits is just a nice term for "fuck buddies", come on girl get real. You let him know that you wanted to get to know each other which let him know for sure that you wanted more. He only asked you that question about seeing someone else probably to see what you would say. He's a guy, not a man and guys play fucked up mind games...especially the fuck buddy guys. He's gone so just forget him. If you only wanted a friends with benefits then you got one, he's apparently found something better In his eyes so move on. If you want something more like a real friend then get one and maybe you can build a real relationship.
